General
1.1 All quotations, offers and contracts are subject to the following conditions
1.2 “the Company” means Western Fuel Ltd (and/or any subsidiary or associated companies or other associated trading entities).
1.3 “the Account Holder” means the person who created the account and password and placed the order with the Company.
1.4 These conditions are deemed to be accepted by our customers upon placing an order with the Company
1.5 Any other terms which the Company purports to introduce or apply in respect of the subject matter of this agreement, including any standard terms and conditions of business of the Company, shall not be binding on the parties and shall not form part of this Agreement unless specifically agreed to in writing by the Company.
Privacy
2.1 Please review our Privacy Notice and Cookies & Internet Advertising Policy on our website, which also govern your use of our website, to understand our practices.
Pricing and Availability
3.1 The contract price is based on the cost of goods, materials, labour and transport and of conforming to statutory obligations ruling on the date of the contract (including the application of Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate).
3.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they confirm the correct VAT rate depending on the quantity and use of the product purchased.
3.3 If between the date of the contract and the completion of the contract, increases occur in these costs, the contract price may be amended accordingly. Where there is an increase in costs, the Company shall inform the customer of the revised price accordingly and the customer may elect to cancel the contract.
3.4 The contract price is also based upon these conditions and reflects the limitations upon the Company’s liability which they contain and the price would be greater if the Company’s liability were more extensive.
3.5 We list availability information for products sold by us on the website. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail or phone as soon as possible if any products you order turn out to be unavailable and you will not be charged for those products.
3.6 Please note that unless otherwise stated on the website, delivery estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed delivery times and should not be relied upon as such.
Liability
4.1 The parties shall be liable for, and indemnify each other against, all direct and foreseeable losses, costs, claims, damages and reasonable expenses arising out of any breach of their obligations under these conditions.
4.2 The parties shall not be liable to each other for any indirect, special or consequential and unforeseeable loss suffered by the other.
4.3 The Company does not accept responsibility for the dipping of, checking or testing of customers tanks. This obligation rests entirely upon customers.
4.4 The customer warrants that the tank, gauge and associated pipework is regularly inspected and is suitable for the delivery to take place.
4.5 We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your right to have the products sent to you within a reasonable time.
Claims
5.1 No claim for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of goods will be entertained unless:-
5.1.1, in the case of damage in transit or shortage of delivery,
(i) a separate notice in writing is given to the carrier concerned and to the Company within three days of the receipt of the goods, and
(ii) the notice is followed by a complete claim in writing to the Company Secretary, Western Fuel Limited, 197 Bristol Road, Silveys Wharf, Bridgwater TA6 4BJ within seven days of receipt of the goods,
Dispatch
6.1 Any time or date for delivery or performance (whether by instalment or not) is a business estimate only and not a contractual obligation in the absence of a specific guarantee issued by the Company in writing.
6.2 If dispatch or completion is hindered or delayed by any cause whatsoever beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including but not limited to civil commotion, strikes, lock-outs, shortened hours of labour, cessation of labour, epidemics, war, fire, accidents, defective materials, delays in transit and perils of the sea, rivers or air in the case of imported goods failure to arrive safely (Force Majeure), the Company shall be held in no way responsible or liable under these conditions.
6.3 Where a Force Majeure occurs the contract will not be cancelled. The delivery or the date of completion as the case may be shall be extended by the period of the delay.
6.4 The Company may at its discretion deliver goods by instalments, in which case each instalment shall stand as a separate contract.
6.5 If the customer fails to take delivery of, or pay for, any instalment, the Company may treat such failure as a repudiation of the whole contract.
6.6 The Company reserves the right to withhold deliveries until all or any outstanding payments of whatsoever nature due to the Company from the customer under this or any other contact have been made.
6.7 Further to the provisions of clauses 6.1 – 6.4, the customer shall be responsible for ensuring they have sufficient fuel to operate their premises and/or business without interruption (“Down Time”). The risk of Down Time shall remain with the customer and the customer shall use reasonable endeavours to time the placement of orders with the Company to avoid such the risk of such Down Time.
6.8 Unless:-
(i) otherwise agreed in advance by the Company in writing, or
(ii) as a result of the Company’s negligent action or inaction;
the Company shall at no time be liable for any losses, costs, claims, damages and reasonable expenses arising in relation to any Down Time incurred by the customer.
Delivery
7.1 The volume of every delivery shall be gauged by the meter of the Company’s fuel tanker. The Company’s reading of which shall be conclusive and binding on both parties. The volume of unmetered deliveries shall be evidenced by a bill of lading.
7.2 Deliveries are only delivered on working days (Monday – Friday) and does not include weekends when ordering over then phone or online when 5 day delivery is shown or quoted.
7.3 If a delivery is required to be made through the customers property, the customer must notify the company and complete the relevant paperwork before delivery can be made. Any other relevant instructions must be made either over the phone, via email or in the special instructions field.
Passing of Property and Risk
8.1 The goods shall be at the customers’ risk from the date of delivery
8.2 Title to the goods shall remain with the Company until the payment of the total price thereof and any other payments of whatsoever nature due to the Company from the customer whether under this or any other contract have been made.
8.3 Until title to the goods passes to the customer as outlined above the customer shall:-
(i) hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as the Company’s bailee;
(ii) store the goods separately from all other goods held by the customer so that they remain readily identifiable as the Company’s property and shall ensure the goods do not become irrevocably incorporated into or with another product (including, where necessary, holding the goods in a separate container to ensure they remain readily identifiable as the Company’s property);
(iii) maintain the goods in satisfactory condition and keep them insured against all risks for their full price from the date of delivery;
(iv) notify the Company immediately if it becomes subject to any of the events listed in clause 9.1;
(v) not pledge or transfer the goods to third parties
(vi) give the Company such information relating to the goods as the Company may require from time to time.
but may dispose of the goods by way of sale or use the goods in the ordinary course of business, subject to
(i) the Company’s right in equity to trace into the proceeds of such sale; and
(ii) the Company being able to revoke the above right of sale by notice to the customer in the event that the customer has a Receiver appointed over any of its undertaking or assets or is put into liquidation or is otherwise insolvent or the Company reasonably believes that any such event is about to happen and notifies the customer accordingly or is in default in respect of any sum whatsoever due to the Company under this or any other contact, then, provided that the goods have not been resold and without limiting any other right or remedy the Company may have, the Company may at any time require the customer to deliver up the goods and, if the customer fails to do so promptly the Company shall have the right to enter onto the premises of the customer or of any third party where the goods are stored in order to recover and resell the goods and to apply the proceeds towards all such items due to the Company from the customer and the expenses of such repossession and resale.
Payment
9.1 All accounts shall be due for payment upon order of the goods and be inclusive of VAT
9.2 Payment must be made by credit or debit card in advance of delivery.
9.3 Any invoice queries must be raised with Western Fuel Ltd in writing within 28 days of the date of the invoice. If 28 days from the date of the invoice has elapsed it is deemed that the Account Holder accepts the invoice in full.
9.4 All credits or refunds due will be made only to the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
9.5 Payments made, and any credits or refunds due, will be applied first in payment of any interest due, and secondly in a reduction of the customers’ other indebtedness to the Company.
9.6 In the case of non-payment or returned payments, Western Fuel Ltd has permission from the customer to enter the customer’s property and retake fuel products of an equivalent value to the debt owed by the customer.
Bankruptcy and Liquidation
10.1 If the customer:-
(i) has a receiver appointed of any of his or its property or business undertaking; or
(ii) makes any composition or scheme of arrangement with his or its creditors or suspends payment to them; or
(iii) announces that he or it is ceasing to trade; or
(iv) is unable to meet his or its debts or is suspending payment of such debts; or
(v) being an individual is subject to a bankruptcy petition or order; or
(vi) being a body corporate has a petition for its liquidation presented to the court or calls a general meeting for the passing of a resolution for its winding up (other than for the purposes of reconstruction or amalgamation)
then clause 9.2 shall apply.
10.2 Where an event set out in clause 9.1 has occurred:-
(i) the full price of any goods delivered shall be immediately payable notwithstanding any previous arrangement to the contrary;
(ii) the Company shall have the right to cancel and/or suspend any further deliveries; and
(iii) the Company, at its discretion, may terminate the agreement between the Company and the customer.
Rights and Remedies
11.1 The exercise by the Company of any right or remedy under this contract shall be without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to it.
11.2 Any failure to exercise or any delay in exercising a right or remedy provided by these conditions shall not constitute a waiver of the right or remedy or a waiver of any other rights or remedies.
Rights of Cancellation
12.1 Unless one of the exceptions listed below applies, you can cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) ordered the goods purchased (or last good, if it relates to multiple goods delivered separately).
12.2 You must inform us (Western Fuel Ltd) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, email or telephone). You may submit your request according to the instructions, forms available or the phone number on our website.
12.3 We will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods purchased, no later than 30 days from the day on which we received the above communication. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. In any event, you will not incur any credit card or bank fees as a result of such reimbursement.
12.4 We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.
12.5 You will have to bear the direct cost of returning these goods.(this will include good out for delivery but not delivered)
12.6 You may be liable if the value of the goods returned diminishes due to the handling of the goods.
13. Security
13.1 We understand that you may have concerns about security on the internet. Our Site uses a secure server in our online ordering process to protect your personal information.
13.2 When you proceed to the checkout, before you are prompted to complete your billing and shipping address, your browser will go into secure mode. Data relating to your order and your personal and payment card details will all pass to our server in an encrypted format. As soon as you have finished ordering you will exit secure mode. As an additional protection for you, our system is designed so that you cannot place an order until you are safely within secure mode.
13.3 We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by email. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by email. Any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility.

Miscellaneous
14.1 If a court or any other competent authority finds that any provision of these conditions (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of the conditions shall not be affected.
14.2 If any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision of the conditions would be valid, enforceable and legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with the minimum modification necessary to make it legal, valid and enforceable.
14.3 Nothing in these conditions is intended to, or shall be deemed to, constitute a partnership or joint venture of any kind between any of the parties, nor constitute any party the agent of another party for any purpose. No party shall have authority to act as agent for, or to bind, the other party in any way.
14.4 The Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply so as to give a person who is not a party to the Contract any rights under it.
14.5 In sales to customers who are “dealing as consumers” (as defined by section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), any provision of these conditions which by virtue of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 or the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 would be of no effect shall not apply. When dealing with a consumer, the statutory rights of the customer shall not be affected by these conditions.
14.6 We reserve the right to make changes to any services, policies, terms and conditions including these Conditions of Use, and Service Terms at any time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions, policies and conditions of Use in force at the time that you use Western Fuel Ltd. If any of these conditions of Use is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
NOTE: For insurance purposes, the customer’s attention is particularly drawn to those conditions limiting and/or excluding the liability of the Company.
Vouchers
14.7 Minimum order of 500 litres of Kerosene, Betterburn or Betterburn V unless otherwise stated. Vouchers only available for Oil products and services including Oil Boilers.
14.8 Single use code per customer/account when placed online or over the phone when using or quoting code.
14.9 Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens, coupons or cards.
15.0 Excludes buying groups, consortiums or resellers.
15.1 Orders must be placed directly with Western Fuel by phone or online.
15.2 Customer must quote valid code, email address and delivery address to qualify.
15.3 Valid from stated dates on the email or postal card.
15.4 Vouchers can be removed or declined at any time.
15.5 Vouchers must be used at time of purchase and cannot be retrospectively applied to previous orders.
15.6 Any prices advertised are excluding VAT unless otherwise stated.
15.7 Codes in 2026 Calendar are valid until 31/12/2026 except for the code offering £5 off your next order, which is valid until 01/05/2026
Win a Holiday Competition
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
15.7 You must be aged 18 or over; If you are not, you must have the permission of your parent or guardian to participate in this promotion. By participating, you confirm that you have obtained such permission.
15.8 Orders over 500L of Kerosene, Betterburn, Betterburn V, Gas Oil or DERV
15.9 Orders placed between 01/11/24 – 31/03/2025 at 23:59 UK time will be entered into the draw.
15.10 No entry limits, all orders placed will be entered by unique order ID.
16.0 Vouchers will be to the value of £5,000.
16.1 The winner will be contacted no later than 3 days after the closing date of the prize selection. Every attempt will be made to contact winner; however the promoter reserves the right to choose another winner if contact and/or acknowledgement of win is unsuccessful for a period of 3 or more working days after winner is announced. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, chosen in accordance with these terms and conditions..
16.2 You are not permitted to enter if you are our employee or their direct family member or agent, or if you are otherwise associated with the Prize Draw.
16.3. The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value shall be provided. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
16.4 The winner will be required to partake in media activity relating to the competition. Failure to do so will be unable to claim the prize.
TankRadar
16.7 Installation of the Watchman telemetry device will be carried out by both competently trained Western Fuels employees and also by Kingspan Water and Energy engineers.
16.8 The warranty period on the Products is 36 months or 3 years and commences from the date the unit is deployed/activated. Warranty on all Products only covers a replacement product only; Warranty does not cover any other costs, or consequential losses, or damages whatsoever.
Fuel Cards
CONDITIONS OF USE
FUEL CARDS SUPPLIED BY WESTERN FUEL
Western Fuel Fuel Cards CONDITIONS OF USE
These Conditions apply to the use of any Fuel Card issued by Western Fuel
1.0 In these Conditions the following definitions apply:
“The Company” Western Fuel Bristol Road Bridgwater Somerset TA6 4BJ.
“this Agreement” The contract constituted by the Application Form completed and signed by the
Customer incorporating these Conditions together with acceptance in writing and issue of Cards by The Company.
“the Customer” The Party completing an Application Form whose application has been accepted.
“the Application Form” The form to which these Conditions of Use are attached and incorporated.
“the Cards” Any Card issued by The Company to the Customer to obtain at Sites a range of goods
and services specified by the Customer in its Application Form and agreed to be provided by The Company.
“Cardholder” A person authorized to hold a Card by a Customer
“Sites” Any service station or other supplier of goods and services nominated from time to time by the Company
“PIN” Personal Identification Number issued for use in conjunction with a Card.
2.0 All issue of Cards shall be at the Company’s discretion and the Company reserves the right to seek the opinion of credit reference agencies before issue. Upon issue the Customer shall be authorised to use the Cards subject to these Conditions and shall be entitled to purchase at Sites diesel, lubricants and gas oil for which The Company shall be the seller. These services will be subject to such conditions as maybe notified to the customer by The Company which may change or withdraw the same by giving the Customer at least one month’s written notice. The change or withdrawal will apply from the date specified in the notice. The Company reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the sale of products if the Customer fails to comply with these Conditions. The Company may increase or reduce the number of Sites without notification.
3.0 Supply of Cards
3.1 All Cards including any replacement or additional Cards shall be charged for at the rate prevailing at the time of supply. The Customer must take all reasonable care to prevent fraudulent use of the Cards.
3.2 The Customer shall receive a PIN for each Card supplied to the Customer.
3.3 The period of validity of the Card is embossed thereon. The Customer may only use the Card during the period of validity.
The Company shall arrange a timely replacement of each Card at its prevailing rates.
4.0 Cards and PINS are to be used in accordance with these Conditions and any particular instructions indicated at Sites. The Customer is required to provide such proof of identity as may be requested at Sites and shall sign any acknowledgement or receipt required by the Site.
5.0 Sites have the right to retain Cards and/or refuse to supply Goods, accept Cards or process transactions for any reason including but not limited to shortage of fuel, technical failure of equipment or failure by the Customer to observe these
Conditions of Use.
5.1 In the event that a Card is refused by a Site the Customer is required to pay for the fuel at the Sites customer price with another means of payment acceptable to the Site.
5.2 Customers must at all times comply with all operating requirements and conditions imposed by the Sites.
6.0 Lost Cards.
6.1 The Customer is responsible for the safekeeping of any Cards issued to it and for their correct use.
6.2 If a Card is lost, stolen, mislaid, mutilated or not received when due or the Customer suspects someone is aware of its PIN the Customer must immediately notify the Company in writing. After such notification the affected Card must not be used.
6.3 The Customer will be liable for payment of any goods or services acquired by use of a Card issued to it at any time from issue of the Card until the Agreement is cancelled or use of that card suspended. Notice must be given before 2.30pm during the course of a Working Day for a card to be cancelled. Any notice given outside such hours will be deemed to have given at the commencement of the next Working Day. After such notification The Company requires 72 hours to inform the Sites. During this period the Customer will be responsible for any use of the Card. Thereafter the Company will accept responsibility for any drawings. 5 working days should be allowed to remove a Card from the stop list should The Company require such action.
6.4 After the Company has been notified in writing in accordance with Sub-Clause 6.2 above it will in its discretion on the request of the Customer provide a replacement Card.
6.5 If any Card which has been reported missing is subsequently retrieved it shall be returned forthwith to The Company.
6.6 The Customer will provide The Company with a full written statement as to the circumstances surrounding any loss, theft or misuse of a Card and The Company may in its discretion disclose any such information as it deems necessary.
7.0 Charging
7.1The Company shall invoice the Customer for all supplies made pursuant to the use of a Card at the price quoted by the Company. The price of diesel is quoted on a weekly basis (Mon to Sun), all other lubricants and gas oil will be charged as stated on our website under retail product charges.
8.0 Statements and Payments
8.1 Invoices will be generated on a weekly basis and payment terms are a strict 14days from the date of invoice by Direct Debit.
CONDITIONS OF USE
FUEL CARDS SUPPLIED BY WESTERN FUEL
8.2 The Customer should not exceed its credit limit. Its credit limit will be such amount as may be notified to the Customer from time to time. If the Customer purchases goods and services to a value in excess of 80% of its agreed credit limit then The Company reserves the right to take payment for the full outstanding amount via the direct debit instructions. The Company has the right to claim payment without deductions in respect of all transactions entered into by use of any Card together with all its costs and expenses including legal and administration costs. The Customer’s obligations to make payment hereunder shall only be discharged by way of payment in full to The Company.
8.3 If payment is not received by The Company by the due date in accordance with Sub-Clause 8.1 above The Company shall charge interest on overdue accounts at the rate of 5% per year above the base rate of Barclays Bank Plc. If any accounts are overdue The Company shall be entitled without notice to cancel, terminate or suspend the Agreement.
8.4 If a request for a payment via any payment method is returned unpaid the Company will charge the Customer a fee of £25 plus VAT for every occasion when a payment is returned unpaid.
9 Termination
9.1 This Agreement may be terminated by the Customer giving 30 days written notice to that effect and returning the card cut in half.
9.2 The Cards at all times shall remain the property of The Company. The Company may cancel this Agreement at any time and request the Customer to return the Cards and terminate this agreement forthwith by any form of notice confirmed subsequently in writing or by fax and an electronic instruction may be sent to all Sites prohibiting further use of the Cards.
9.3 The Customer must also notify The Company if it wishes any Card issued to it to be withdrawn in which case the Customer shall return it to The Company as soon as possible.
9.4 Immediately following the termination of this agreement or withdrawal of a Card under Sub-Clause 8.3 above the Customer shall destroy any Card supplied to the Customer by cutting the Card in half and returning it to The Company by recorded delivery. The Customer shall remain responsible for the full settlement without deduction of all supplies acquired with any card prior to receipt by The Company of the Cards
10.0 Liabilities
10.1 The Cards are issued purely as a convenience to the Customer and shall not confer any right upon the Customer to receive supplies of fuel or other goods or services from The Company or any person acting on their behalf. The Company is not liable for any loss consequential or otherwise, whatsoever or howsoever incurred by the Customer which arises of the refusal of any Sites for whatever reason to supply any fuel, lubricants, goods or services. The Company will not be liable for any consequential or indirect damage suffered by which the Customer which arises out of the condition, quality or sufficiency of any fuel or other goods and services supplied pursuant to this Agreement.
11.0 General
11.1 This Agreement is personal to the Customer and shall not be assignable by the Customer without the written consent of
The Company which may transfer all or any of its rights, benefits and obligations under this Agreement to any person at any time. Following any transfer, references to The Company will be read as references to the transferee to the extent of the transfer.
11.2 This Agreement and any supplies of goods and/or services made in conjunction with the use of the Card shall be governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts.
11.3 The Customer waives any rights of set-off it may have in respect of sums payable under this Agreement.
11.4 The Company shall not be liable for any loss the Customer may suffer if it is prevented from or delayed in providing any service (including production of statements) due to strikes, industrial action, failure of power supplies or equipment or causes beyond its control or that of its suppliers, agents or contractors.
11.5 The Company may disclose information about the Customer to any person in connection with an actual or proposed contract which relates to this Agreement. This includes disclosing information under the terms of the Agreement and transfer of The Company rights and obligations under this Agreement.
12 If you chose a CO² offsetting option, the approximate CO² offset will be calculated with reference to the volume of fuel drawn and calculated with reference to DEFRA figures. In order to offset your emissions the Company will use reputable reforestation companies, details being provided on request.
13.Data Protection
The Customer hereby consents to:(i) all and any processing (in manual or electronic form) of personal data relating to the Customer by the Company (ii) such personal data being transferred to, communicated to or otherwise accessed by the Company for the operation of the agreement in connection with the legitimate purposes specified above.
The Customer hereby expressly warrants that it:
(i) will at all times comply with the requirements of the applicable data privacy legislation; and (ii) has obtained or will obtain the
consent of each Cardholder to processing of their personal data by the Company pursuant to this Agreement.
Somerset in Focus Photography Competition
These terms and conditions apply to the Somerset in Focus photography competition jointly run by Passion for Somerset CIC and Western Fuel.
By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before submitting your entry.
1. Promoters
The competition is jointly organised by:
• Passion for Somerset CIC
• Western Fuel
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
2. Competition Overview
Somerset in Focus is a UK wide photography competition that celebrates Somerset. The competition runs from 1 July 2025 to 22 July 2025 and includes five themed categories:
Somerset Landscapes
Hidden Somerset
Historic Somerset
• Rural Life
• Seasons in Somerset
Winning entries will feature in the official Western Fuel 2026 Calendar, delivered to over 14,000 homes and businesses across Somerset.
3. Who Can Enter
• The competition is open to UK residents only, aged 18 or over.
• Proof of age may be required.
• Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Passion for Somerset CIC or Western Fuel are not eligible.
• Entrants must be the original creator and copyright holder of submitted images.
4. How to Enter
• Entries open at 16:00 on 1 July 2025 and close at 11:59PM on 22 July 2025.
• To enter, send your photograph(s) via direct message (DM) to @somersetday on Facebook or Instagram with the words “Western Fuel Photography Competition”, or send your photograph(s) in an email to info@westernfuel.co.uk
• Each person may submit one photograph per category.

5. Judging and Prizes
Judging
• Entries will be judged by a panel from Western Fuel, based on creativity, storytelling, and connection to the chosen category.
• Winners will be announced on 4 August 2025.
Prizes
• Selected winners will be featured in the Western Fuel 2026 Calendar.
• Winners will receive:
• A copy of the calendar
• A featured blog on the Western Fuel and Somerset Day websites, with promotion across social media — including links to your portfolio, website, or professional profile so people can discover more about your work.
• Recognition by name alongside their photo.
• One overall finalist will win a £100 Amazon voucher.
• A runners-up gallery will be published online to showcase more entries.
6. Image Use and Rights
• Entrants retain full copyright of submitted photos.
• By entering, you grant Passion for Somerset CIC and Western Fuel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:
• Use your photo(s) in the 2026 calendar
• Share and publish your images online, in print, on social media, and in promotional material.
• Images may be cropped or lightly edited for formatting, with attribution maintained.
7. Data and Privacy
• Personal data will be used solely for administering the competition and contacting winners.
• Data will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties without consent.
• Winners’ names or social handles may be publicly announced as part of competition promotion.
